I've tried a few new recipes lately and I feel like they have all been pretty major fails. Butternut squash soup that had the consistency of baby food and the flavor of... something nasty. Tiramisu that didn't set up right. A smoothie that didn't blend the way it should have so I had weird weird orange stringy things in it... Just not good.
So I've decided I should probably stick with recipes that I know are good for a while until I get my cooking mojo back. I went through the blog to find recipes that I've tried in the past and made a list of the winners. I thought I might as well share it with you all. Here it is.

1. Chicken Teriyaki Bowls

This Year
I go back and forth on my thoughts on New Year's Resolutions. Some years I'm super motivated and write these long lists because I think it's good to be intentional. Some years I have a hipster attitude about it and refuse to partake in the tradtion. This year I'm in the middle. So I've made two goals.
1. To intentionally pursue the Lord, my relationship with Him, and His word.
2. To continue to live a healthier life style (working out, eating healthy, sleeping enough, etc.)
I think if I'm doing goal number 1 well, then the rest of the things that I want to be and do will fall into place like loving people well, prioritizing my time wisely, being generous and a good steward of my money, keeping my cool with I'm tempted to be feisty... Pursuing the Lord should help me with all of that. So that's what I want to work on this year.
I saw my friend Jessie share this video on Facebook and I kind of loved it and it kind of goes along with my thoughts on this coming year... So Happy New Year... I hope you enjoy!
