I have fond memories of visits to the lake growing up. I don't know what it is... I just love everything about it. It's been a few years since I've made it to the Ozarks but my Bible study spent the weekend there and it was quite wonderful!The place the our leader rented was BEAUTIFUL! It was right on the lake which was fun to look at. It had a dock so we got to dip our feet in. We played games, watched movies, sat by a fire, and ate a lot. I loved it!
It was just a great weekend. I don't have much else to say about it other than that... but I had to at least give it a mention (because I loved it, you know...)
